Our commitment to accessibility
Doudlah Farms Organics is committed to making doudlahfarms.com accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We are actively working to ensure our website is usable by people who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, and keyboard-only navigation.
Conformance status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content may not yet fully meet the accessibility standard. We are continuing to test and improve.
What we have done
- Added a clear page structure with landmark regions and a working “skip to content” link.
- Reviewed and corrected color contrast so text meets the AA 4.5:1 ratio, including text shown over photographs.
- Corrected the heading order so the page outline is logical for screen-reader users.
- Gave interactive controls accessible names and labels (account links, dialogs, product filters, and forms).
- Enlarged small interactive controls, such as carousel arrows and pagination dots, so they are easier to activate.
- Corrected ARIA roles on product carousels so assistive technology announces them correctly.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some limitations may remain. We are currently completing manual testing with keyboard-only navigation and screen readers, and will address any issues found. If you encounter a barrier that is not listed here, please let us know.
Feedback and contact
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of doudlahfarms.com. If you experience any difficulty accessing any part of this website, or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us through our Contact Us page. We try to respond to accessibility feedback within five business days.
