About Us

OUR FARM

Located in Southern Wisconsin

We currently grow over 20 varieties of artisan products that are USDA Certified Organic, which include Black Turtle Beans, Dark Red Kidneys, Pintos and Cranberry Beans, along with our own proprietary genetic grain known as Flynn Creek Whole Wheat, Rye Wheat, Buckwheat, and ancient grains. We have four fun colors of Flint Dent corns for corn meals, and our own genetics; “Burning Desire”, a rich, dark red, flint dent corn. Burning Desire was purchased by a local distillery for a specialized red whiskey. How creative and fun is that? Our specialty products are Roasted & Salted Sunflower Kernels. But yet, the best to come: our Honey. Our bees are raised on organic fields of Buckwheat and Clover. And don’t think we forgot the kiddos. We have honey straws for yummy treats; nature’s candy made by bees.

OUR MISSION

To provide nutrient-dense, safe, flavorful foods.

We take a holistic, ecological, and ethical approach to our farming practices. It is not good enough for farmers to just be sustainable, we need to be regenerative. To rebuild our soils and increase plant health for human health.
Regenerative Soil Health = Plant Health= Human Health.
For this reason we do not use pesticides, chemical fertilizers, or any other artificial agents. Doudlah Farms advocates for organic regenerative and bio-dynamic farming practices (fancy names for growing nutrient-rich foods that are good for you and the future of human health).

When you shop you vote! You are telling the farmer what you want, and how you want it produced. Thank you for your vote; your choice! Your choice is what is sustaining our positive change in the Slow Food Movement.
