Cleaning & Basic Cooking instructions: Rinse and sort thoroughly, Soak Beans for 6 – 24 hours or best overnight and drain when ready for use. Boil in 6-8 cups of fresh water for 10 minutes. Reduce heat and simmer for 60-90 minutes in favorite recipe. Add to your slow cooker or Instant Pot to finish the cooking process.
Warning: If not cooked properly, do not eat the beans! Undercooked and raw beans are toxic due to a plant lectin known as phytohaemagglutnin. Store unused dry beans in airtight container in a cool and dry place.
